Mexican Coffee: The Aromatic Legacy of Our Land
At Apex Eco Exporters, we've extended our passion for high-quality Mexican products to include coffee, a cornerstone of our culture and a product recognised worldwide. We're proud to offer coffee beans that not only boast an exceptional flavour profile but also represent centuries of tradition and a deep respect for the land.
Why is Mexican coffee a preferred choice for international markets?
Quality and Terroir of Origin: Mexican coffee, mostly of the Arabica variety, is grown in the fertile lands of states such as Chiapas, Veracruz, and Oaxaca. The altitude, climate, and soils rich in organic matter in these regions contribute to a unique flavour profile, characterised by a bright acidity, a balanced body, and distinctive notes of chocolate, caramel, and nuts.
Sustainable Cultivation: A large portion of Mexican coffee is grown under shade, an agroforestry practice that protects local biodiversity and improves soil health. Many of our producers are smallholder farmers who operate under fair trade principles, ensuring a product that is not only delicious but also ethical and sustainable.
Versatile Profile: Mexican coffee is valued for its balance, making it ideal for a wide range of brewing methods, from espresso to filtered. Its clean flavour profile and medium body make it an excellent base for blends, allowing roasters and baristas worldwide to create their own mixes.
Classification and Logistics
Flavours of Origin: Avocado, Coffee, Mango, Dragon Fruit and Mezcal directly from the heart of Mexico.
Grading: Green coffee is rigorously graded to ensure quality. The main grading factors include bean size and the number of defects. We specialise in high-grade beans, such as SHG (Strictly High Grown), which certifies that the coffee was grown at an altitude of over 1,200 metres, giving it a greater density and flavour complexity.
Flavour Profile and Roasting: As exporters, our speciality is unroasted green coffee, ready to be roasted according to the final customer's desired flavour profile. This offers maximum flexibility, allowing artisan and industrial roasters to unlock the full potential of the beans for their own products
Ripening: Our mangoes are harvested at the ideal time for transport. The ripening process is carefully controlled so they arrive at their destination with the right firmness, allowing for an extended shelf life and the ability for the product to ripen on the retail shelf.
Shelf Life: Thanks to a careful process of selection, treatment, and packaging, our mangoes maintain their freshness and quality during sea or air transport, guaranteeing an excellent shelf life upon reaching their final market.
